Which to choose
Choose Canny if
- You want uncapped AI credits on a free plan. Canny Free covers up to 25 tracked users and includes Autopilot AI.

Choose Sikia if
- Your users talk to you in Slack or Discord, and you want messages in the channels you pick captured and sorted without anyone forwarding them.

- You want to self-host. Sikia is source-available, and the Scale plan includes a commercial self-host license.

The main differences
How the price grows
Canny Pro is priced by tracked users, meaning anyone with a post, vote or comment attributed to them. It starts at $79/mo billed yearly for 100 tracked users and reaches $1,079/mo billed yearly at 5,000, with custom Business pricing above that. Sikia's plans are limited by projects and AI volume instead: Free covers 1 project and 25 AI-captured requests a month, Starter is $19/mo for 1 project and 100, and voters are never counted.
Slack and Discord
Canny turns a Slack message into feedback when someone uses its bot, message action or shortcut on it, and its Discord integration only sends notifications. Sikia listens in the Slack and Discord channels you pick, sorts each message into request, bug, question or chatter, and drafts requests that a teammate approves before anything goes public.
Where AI finds feedback
Canny's Autopilot extracts feedback from Intercom, Zendesk, Help Scout, Gong, app-store and review sites, and Zapier, and it's included on every plan. Sikia captures from Slack, Discord, its widget, forwarded emails, GitHub Discussions and its API, and its AI suggests merging duplicates as votes with the user's quote attached. If most of your feedback comes through a helpdesk or sales calls, Canny covers more of it.
Branding, SSO and integrations
Removing 'Powered by Canny' and team SSO both require Canny's sales-led Business plan, and branding removal is an add-on with an unpublished price. Sikia removes its badge and includes a custom domain on every paid plan, and links requests to Linear and GitHub Issues from Growth, but it has no team SSO and no Jira, Intercom or Zendesk integration.
MCP server and API
Canny has an official MCP server with 55+ read and write tools on any paid plan, and a REST API on every plan. Sikia's MCP server is on every plan and includes get_spec, which returns a spec with the problem, user quotes and acceptance criteria for Claude Code or Cursor. Sikia also has a REST API and signed webhooks on every plan.
Moving from Canny to Sikia
Sikia imports from Canny with your Canny API key and brings over requests, voters, comments, statuses and changelog entries. Canny's API is available on every plan, including Free. Nobody is emailed, re-running the import only adds what's new, and vote counts that can't be tied to a specific voter are kept as anonymous votes. Imports need the Growth, Scale or Lifetime plan.

Other comparisons
- ComparisonSikia vs FeaturebasePick Featurebase if you want a helpdesk, an AI support agent, a help center and feedback boards in one subscription, priced per teammate seat. Pick Sikia if you only need feedback, a roadmap and a changelog, want Slack and Discord messages captured without anyone sending them over, and want a flat price with unlimited teammates. The biggest difference is scope: Featurebase is a support platform that includes feedback, and Sikia is a feedback tool.
- ComparisonSikia vs UserJotPick UserJot if you want two boards on a free plan, and most of your feedback arrives on the board itself. Pick Sikia if your users talk to you in Slack or Discord and you want those messages captured, deduplicated and drafted as requests automatically. Both have a free plan and flat paid plans, so the biggest difference is capture: UserJot's Slack capture is manual and its Discord integration is documented as notifications, while Sikia listens in the channels you pick.
- ComparisonSikia vs UpvotyPick Upvoty if you want the cheapest paid plan, with a custom domain, user SSO and no vendor branding from $15/mo, plus Jira and Linear status sync. Pick Sikia if your users talk to you in Slack or Discord and you want those messages captured as requests, with the changelog and MCP server on every plan. The biggest difference is where feedback comes from: Upvoty collects it on its portal and widget, while Sikia also pulls it out of your chat channels.
- ComparisonSikia vs NoltPick Nolt if you want a straightforward board with unlimited users and admins, thorough moderation, and SAML or SCIM on Enterprise. Pick Sikia if your users talk to you in Slack or Discord and you want those messages turned into requests, since Nolt's Slack and Discord integrations post board activity rather than capture messages. Nolt prices by board count, from $29/mo billed yearly for one board, while Sikia prices by projects and AI volume, with a Free plan for one project and paid plans from $19/mo.
- ComparisonSikia vs FrillPick Frill if you want ideas, a roadmap, announcements and NPS or CSAT surveys in one in-app widget, with importers from Canny, Aha, Upvoty and Fider. Pick Sikia if your users talk to you in Slack or Discord and you want those messages turned into requests, with branding removed on every paid plan. The biggest difference is where feedback comes from: Frill centers on its widget, while Sikia also captures it from your chat channels.
